Shahab Rezania

Shahab Rezania Shahab received two bachelor degrees in Physiology and Physical Therapy from McGill University in 1998 and 2001, respectively. After gaining several years of clinical experience in the field of orthopaedics and sports medicine, he returned to school to complete a Masters degree in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2004. Shahab's post graduate training in Australia gave him excellent exposure to the new advances and studies by top researchers in the field. Shahab is a qualified manipulative physiotherapist and possesses advanced and specialized clinical skills in the analysis and management of clients with musculoskeletal and neurological problems.

Shahab possesses many years of clinical experience treating a variety of orthopaedic and sports injuries. His treatment techniques include manual therapy, joint manipulation and exercise prescription. In addition, he emphasizes injury prevention strategies and education.

Areas of personal interest include treating neck and lower back disorders and headaches. Shahab is a certified Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) practitioner who recently finished his training under the supervision of Dr. Chan Gunn at the Institute for the Study of Pain (ISTOP).

Shahab is an avid downhill skier and mountain biker. Having experienced multiple sport injuries including fractures, Shahab possesses a good knowledge of the impact of injuries on personal life. Shahab is also an avid traveler and can communicate effectively in English, Persian and French.
