Deanna Bicego
Deanna is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she completed her Masters of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Science degrees. Since graduating she has worked in a busy orthopedic and sports injury clinic in Surrey, B.C. Deanna is a member of the sport and orthopedic divisions of the Canadian Physical Therapy Association and the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute.
Continuing her education, Deanna is currently pursuing her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy issued by the orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is currently also studying acupuncture.
Deanna enjoys treating all types of patients. Her philosophy of individualized treatments incorporates manual therapy, education and exercise prescription.
While studying at UBC, Deanna was involved in research on both breast cancer related lymphedema and the effects of exercise on quality of life in women living with breast cancer.
Deanna is an outdoor enthusiast playing competitive women's soccer, cycling on her road bike, snowboarding, running and hiking.
