New Physiotherapy Client Information

What Will Happen on the First Appointment

  • Your initial appointment will be 30-45 minutes one-on-one. Your physiotherapist will conduct an assessment and initiate treatment. Your therapist will ask you questions in order to understand your condition and will then conduct several orthopedic tests to determine the source of your pain. This will be followed by treatment options from acupuncture, IMS, manual therapy, specific mobilizations of the affected joints, muscles and or nerves. Specific rehabilitation exercises will be prescribed.

  • Each subsequent appointment will be 30 minutes to one hour.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early as this time is especially booked for you. You will be given a form to complete.
  • Our goal is to alleviate your symptoms and help you return to normal function and activity. We do not simply treat your symptoms. Instead, we apply clinical reasoning and problem solving to get to the root of your condition. Appropriate orthopaedic assessment and treatment will accelerate your recovery and provide long-term resolution of pain.

What To Bring
