Acupuncture and pregnancy

Uses of acupuncture during pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal recovery.

Acupuncture can be a safe and effective treatment to enhance a pregnant woman's well-being and promote optimal health for the baby. It has been proven to be effective throughout pregnancy for nausea, musculoskeletal pain, hypertension, breech and posterior babies. It is also effective for labour preparation, induction and pain relief during labour.
